Ohio, USA, Mid-western security manufacturers representatives, IP Security Reps, have taken on PowerStack smart solar poles as part of their brand portfolio in 2024.
Providers of design, integration and installation services, IP Security Reps cover South and Central Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and West Virginia, as well as the metropolitan areas of Chicago and Pittsburg. The agreement will see them represent a core range of off-grid, smart solar poles from PowerStack, for use with a number of leading security device brands.
Being highly modular and flexible, PowerStack solar is able to provide reliable power for everything from CCTV cameras and remote monitoring devices, to IoT sensors, security lighting and perimeter security. Bluetooth and wifi enabled, the smart solar poles can be installed in under an hour by a two person team, without the need for costly concrete foundations or heavy machinery.
PowerStack’s unique 4-sided vertical design means it maximizes sun capture year round, enabling the poles to be deployed pretty much anywhere.
With applicable designs for each location built based on mid-winter conditions (when sunlight hours are lowest), PowerStack’s approach to solar power generation ensures you get reliable 24/7 power, all through the year.
Often, providers such as IP Security Reps and their customers can encounter ‘dark spots’ on a design, where it would be beneficial to have eyes and ears on the ground, but it’s not possible because of a lack of existing electrical infrastructure. Even where grid supply is available nearby, the expense and time spent to extend that grid supply can be prohibitive.
PowerStack overcomes that obstacle, enabling the deployment of security infrastructure in those project dark spots, or in remote locations where there is simply no electrical supply.
