Florida, USA, Eminent lighting design provider and manufacturers’ presentative, Revelume Lighting, have signed with PowerStack to take on their gridless solar poles for lighting designs and applications in north and central Florida.
The agreement establishes Revelume Commercial Sales and Lighting Design (a division of Ripple Associates Inc.) as the primary sales lead in the lighting channel for a core range of PowerStack’s unique, off-grid integrated solar poles. The poles are entirely self sufficient; harvesting and storing the sun’s energy to produce up to 60W of continuous power for running various architectural lighting fixtures and designs.
Made in the USA and using glassless, shatterproof solar panels, PowerStack is designed to withstand a category 5 hurricane, and is exceptionally vandal resistant. The rugged design is ideal for the Florida market, where sunshine is abundant but disruptive weather events are common.
Brand and technology agnostic, the PowerStack system already integrates with a number of the device brands available through Revelume’s line-card, such as the WE-EF series of DC-driven luminaires.
The addition of PowerStack’s 100% grid independent solar poles to the Revelume portfolio open up opportunities for deploying architectural and operational lighting in previously difficult or inaccessible locations. Without no need for trenching or long cable runs, or the expense and time needed to apply for utility connections, PowerStack enables efficient, cost-effective access to power where project teams need it most.
For example, deploying additional lighting at a Florida golf course, public park, or community shopping center would typically require substantial time and effort for utility approvals not to mention site disruptions with heavy machinery required to extend the grid to new light poles. PowerStack removes those barriers. With grid-independent power supply and an installation process that can be done with just two people using battery powered tools, PowerStack delivers reliable, sustainable power with minimized disruption to the surrounding environment.
