Melbourne, Australia:Vertical solar power poles from PowerStack will be creating solar powered illumination solutions for Amphis Commercial, under a new agreement. The solar manufacturer and the lighting solutions company have inked a deal that will see Amphis Commercial offer the 100% off-grid solar power poles as part of their product offering.
Amphis Commercial is a lighting manufacturer, supplier, and design services provider. Specialising in end-to-end lighting solutions that simplify commercial projects, delivering customised and impactful results for every unique space and need.. They work with builders, architects, specifiers and electricians to deliver bespoke lighting solutions for both outdoor and indoor spaces.
For outdoor lighting, PowerStack provides Ampis Commercial with a way to deploy solar powered illumination without the need for accessing or connecting to traditional grid power, which can be costly and time consuming.
The unique 4-sided modular design means PowerStack can be designed for each location, based on that site’s specific sunlight hours, the running wattage on the chosen luminaire and the run profile. So even in lower sunlight regions the system provides reliable energy year round. This high degree of flexibility makes PowerStack an ideal choice for Amphis Commercial, who have a national footprint for commercial and industrial lighting projects.
With PowerStack poles starting at 1 m bollards and going up to 8m, there is a system and a configuration for a huge range of different lighting solutions.
Unlike traditional flat panel solar, PowerStack’s energy storage and distribution system is fully integrated into the pole, giving it a sleek aesthetic. This is an answer to the need to have a solar product that can be deployed in architectural lighting designs in commercial and public spaces, without disrupting the desired look of that space.

PowerStack is enabling the Amphis Commercial team to expand lighting designs out further into landscaping and a building’s surroundings whilst minimising any disruption. It also opens them up to taking on new kinds of projects, where there is little to no existing electrical infrastructure.
